Uniform Requirements<\/span><\/h3>\n

St George Little Athletics’ uniform comprises for all<\/span> ages:<\/p>\n

Tiny Tots (only)<\/span>:\u00a0 STGLAC uniform available from SportsMagic OR plain red t-shirt and plain red shorts (available from Best & Less, Kmart, etc)<\/p>\n

For Boys 6+<\/span>:\u00a0 STGLAC Singlet (red & white stripes) plus STGLAC red Shorts (both available from SportsMagic only)<\/p>\n

For Girls 6+<\/span>:\u00a0 Either a STGLAC Singlet or STGLAC Crop Top (red & white stripes) plus either STGLAC red Shorts or STGLAC red Bike Pants or STGLAC red Briefs (all items available from SportsMagic only)<\/p>\n

Black shorts, Black shirts, Black tights or Black leggings are not acceptable ever<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\t\n\n\t

It is a requirement that the full STGLAC uniform (top and pants) and correct coloured undergarments (if applicable), are worn while competing during Friday Night meets, Gala Days and any NSW Athletics event. <\/strong>[We will of course allow a reasonable time for athletes to purchase and receive their uniform.]<\/em><\/p>\n

Athletes not wearing the full STGLAC uniform (top and pants) and\/or wearing incorrect coloured undergarments, will be ineligible to have their results (including records) recorded for that meet.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

STGLAC merchandise or any other items worn between events or while waiting for a turn must be removed when performing an event<\/em>.<\/p>\n

New Uniform<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The uniform (pictured above) was\u00a0introduced at the start of the 2022\/23 season.\u00a0 \u00a0Uniform items acquired prior to 2022\/23 may not be worn.<\/p>\n

All components of the uniform bear the club’s logo, or the wordmark STGLAC, and can only be acquired from our uniform supplier<\/strong> – SportsMagic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Purchasing a Uniform<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Uniforms are available for purchase directly from our supplier, SportsMagic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

SportsMagic<\/strong> will be on-site\u00a0at Olds Park<\/strong> on the date shown on the How to Join page of this website and also the\u00a0\u00a0Calendar<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0You can also place an on-line order<\/strong> with SportsMagic<\/strong> via the following link:\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0STGLAC Uniform Orders<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Marketplace Option<\/span><\/h4>\n

Parents interested in a marketplace for buying \/ selling \/ swapping uniform items, shoes or equipment can visit the following Facebook site:\u00a0 \u00a0 STGLAC Uniform Marketplace<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

All uniform items posted must be from the ‘current’ uniform design as set out on the St George LAC website.<\/p>\n

St George LAC takes no part in transactions between parties buying, selling or swapping items and accepts no responsibility for any issues which may arise.\u00a0 All such issues must be resolved between the parties to the transaction.<\/em><\/p>\n

If you have items in good condition you’d like to donate to the Centre, please email uniform-enquiries@stgeorgelac.org.au<\/a><\/span> and we’ll do our best to find them a deserving home!<\/p>\n

Attaching Bib Numbers & Patches<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The Registration (‘Bib’) number<\/strong> must be attached to the centre front of tops.\u00a0 \u00a0The Age Patch<\/strong>\u00a0(incorporating the Coles logo) must be attached to the top<\/strong> – on either the left or right side.\u00a0 \u00a0It may partially overlap the Bib – if necessary<\/em> (eg. small size crop top) – but must not cover any part of the McDonalds “M”, the Bib number, Season Year, or the St George logo.<\/p>\n

Please ensure the Bib and patches are neatly & securely affixed to the uniform – not flapping around loose.\u00a0 It is preferable that they are sewn to uniforms.\u00a0 \u00a0[They are not “iron-on”.<\/em>]\u00a0 \u00a0If a Bib is lost and needs to be replaced (ie. new number allocated) the club incurs a $10 fee which will be passed on to you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Undergarments<\/span><\/h3>\n

We understand that some athletes may prefer to wear undergarments (be that for warmth, cultural reasons, or otherwise) so we have the following options that can be worn underneath<\/em> the STGLAC uniform.<\/p>\n

Upper Body<\/h4>\n

Only PLAIN WHITE upper body undergarments are allowed. No logos, patterns or stripes allowed. The plain white upper body undergarment must be tight fitting and worn under the STGLAC uniform top (singlet\/crop).<\/p>\n

Lower Body<\/h4>\n

Only PLAIN RED lower body undergarments are allowed. No logos, patterns or stripes allowed. The plain red lower body undergarment must be tight fitting and worn under the STGLAC uniform pants (shorts\/bike pants).<\/p>\n

Black Shorts, Black shirts, Black tights or Black leggings are not acceptable.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Athletes who wear black or any other colour undergarment other than stated in the above upper and lower body undergarment options will be ineligible to have results (including records) recorded.<\/p>\n

If you wish to wear compression<\/em> shorts on Friday nights you may do so under<\/em> the STGLAC uniform shorts. If you wish to wear only<\/em> compression shorts at championships events (Zone, Region, State) this will be accepted.\u00a0 \u00a0The only acceptable compression shorts worn on their own at championship events<\/em> are the SKINS brand in the colour red.<\/p>\n

The SKINS brand compression shorts (pictured below) are available from Rebel Sport, The Iconic or online from SKINS directly (see\u00a0\u00a0Skins Website<\/a><\/span> ).<\/p>\n

Merchandise<\/span><\/h3>\n

We’ve introduced a range of optional merchandise you might like to consider, including socks, a Hoodie, sun visor and a cap.\u00a0 Purchases can be made direct from SportsMagic at:\u00a0 \u00a0St George LAC Merchandise<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Shoes<\/span><\/h3>\n

Shoes must always be worn during competition events.<\/p>\n

Soccer\/football boots or cleats may NOT be worn.\u00a0 Athletes won’t be allowed to compete in incorrect footwear.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some athletes may wish to wear spike shoes<\/strong> in certain events, but these are by no means necessary or expected<\/em>.\u00a0 \u00a0The following rules<\/strong> apply to spikes worn at St\u00a0George LAC events for indicated Age Groups:<\/p>\n
