can be collected at Olds Park (see the dates on the <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/stgeorgelac.org.au\/how-to-join\/\">How to Join<\/a><\/span> page), <strong>subject to<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>You provided us with a\u00a0<strong>Proof of child&#8217;s Age<\/strong> document if requested (during online registration), or previously.\u00a0 If not, then bring it or a good photo of it with you.<\/li>\n<li>You&#8217;ve filled in the online forms (<strong>WWC Declaration<\/strong>\u00a0&amp; <strong>Parent Duty Commitment<\/strong>) &#8211; see <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/stgeorgelac.org.au\/how-to-join\/\">How to Join<\/a><\/span> step 5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The Registration Pack includes patches that need to be affixed (<em>preferably<\/em> sewn) onto the uniform in specific locations. This is specified on the <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/stgeorgelac.org.au\/uniforms\/\">Uniforms<\/a><\/span><\/strong> page of the website.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Check that you have completed all the steps<\/strong> on the\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/stgeorgelac.org.au\/how-to-join\/\"><strong>How to Join<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0 page of the website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Parent Helping<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Every family needs to provide assistance by an adult (parent, grand-parent or other adult) on a regular basis.\u00a0 The minimum requirement is specified on the &#8220;How to Join&#8221; page.\u00a0 \u00a0<em>Thank you in advance if you are willing to sign-up for a duty more often than the minimum.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Anyone assisting at Little Athletics must have filled in the WWC Declaration (see Step 5 on <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/stgeorgelac.org.au\/how-to-join\/\">How to Join<\/a><\/span> page).<\/li>\n<li>The various ways in which parents can assist are set out here:\u00a0 \u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/stgeorgelac.org.au\/parent-helpers\/\">Parent Helper Roles<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>On Friday Competition Days<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Arrive 15mins prior to the scheduled start time for the first event.\u00a0 Start times vary by Age Group &#8211; see the <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"https:\/\/stgeorgelac.org.au\/faq\/\">FAQ<\/a><\/span> page.\u00a0 \u00a0The best parking is the council car park accessed via Holley Rd &amp; Olds Park Lane (adjacent to the Olds Park Sports Club parking area) &#8211; it will fill up, so be early.\u00a0 Next best is the council car park at the Penshurst branch library.<\/li>\n<li>Each athlete should locate their Age Group \/ Age Manager &#8211; go to the appropriate Age Group flag set up on the soccer field &#8211; a parent must <strong>sign-in<\/strong> each athlete (and <strong>sign them out<\/strong> at the end of the evening).<\/li>\n<li>Parents &#8216;signed up&#8217; to a duty for that Meet should report in at the desk, and then ensure they are at the relevant duty location &amp; time as per the duty description on the Sign-up. [We record your duty as done\/not done based on your presence at the duty location.]<\/li>\n<li>An adult in each family must <strong>remain at Olds Park<\/strong> while ever your children are participating. If you are performing a duty that evening, you may need to remain a little later &#8211; till your duty is completed.\u00a0 Often you can choose a duty that lines up well with your children\u2019s <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"https:\/\/stgeorgelac.org.au\/weekly-programs\/\">program<\/a><\/span> timing.\u00a0 Some duties (eg. &#8220;setup&#8221;) are scheduled early, before competition even begins.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Do NOT enter the main oval (inside the picket fence) unless you are performing a duty on the Track.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Do utilise our <strong>canteen<\/strong>!\u00a0 It\u2019s an important source of funding for the club.\u00a0 <strong>Card transactions<\/strong> preferred please (we do <em>not<\/em> charge card \/ transaction fees).<\/li>\n<li>Should you need to collect your child from their Age Group prior to the group finishing, <strong>please be sure you inform the Age Manager<\/strong>\u00a0at the time so that we are not in doubt as to the whereabouts &amp; supervision of any child.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Calendar<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The Fridays on which we do and don&#8217;t compete, together with the dates of the main interclub carnivals are set out in our <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/stgeorgelac.org.au\/calendar\/\">Calendar<\/a><\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Coaching<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>We offer group coaching throughout the season for registered members. \u00a0\u00a0The scope and conditions for participating are set out on the <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/stgeorgelac.org.au\/coaching-program\/\">Coaching<\/a><\/span><\/strong> page on the website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Awards<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>We offer a comprehensive <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/stgeorgelac.org.au\/awards-program\/\">Awards Program<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Eligibility for several awards is dependent on <strong>athletes<\/strong> &amp; <strong>families<\/strong> achieving a minimum level of <strong>participation<\/strong> as a pre-requisite.\u00a0 Athletes must attempt a minimum % of the events offered to their Age Group across the season, and their families must deliver on their <strong>p<\/strong><em><strong>arent duty commitment<\/strong> (see step 1 on the <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/stgeorgelac.org.au\/how-to-join\/\">How to Join<\/a><\/span> page.).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">This Website<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Almost everything you need to know about participating in athletics at St George LAC can be found in the pages of this website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Little Athletics Centres are run wholly by volunteers \u2013 parents just like you. &nbsp; Your Key Next Steps &#8211; after completing online registration&#8230;.
