INNER CITY ZONE CHAMPIONS held to be held at ES MARKS FIELD MOORE PARK
6th and 7th DECEMBER 2025
Zone Championships are conducted in each of the 24 Zones throughout the State. Randwick Botany LAC is in the INNER CITY ZONE along with Eastern Suburbs, South Eastern, Balmain, Canterbury, Inner West and Tiger Wests.
Event entry is by athlete application, unless events are oversubscribed. All Randwick Botany athletes, in the U7-U17 age groups, are able to participate if they submit an application. The first 6 placegetters in our Zone, within the U8-U17 age groups, automatically progress to the Regional Championships (REGION 8), along with the next 4 best qualifiers across the combined Inner City and Southern Metropolitan Zones. U7 athletes do not progress past the Zone Championships but do receive medals.
Randwick Botany is able to enter 5 athletes per event in the 7-12 age groups. Except the 7 years to 11 years where we may have 7 athletes in the sprints 50/70/100 metres
No event entry limit applies in the 13-17 age groups. U7s to U12s may compete in 4 events only. 13s to 17s may compete in 6 events. The relay is an additional event and is not included in the 4-6 events.
Where more athletes apply than there are available places, selections will be at the discretion of the Committee with various considerations made including athlete rankings, consistency of performance and regularity of attendance at Saturday competitions.
